Skincare meets haircare! The Healthy Scalp Exfoliating Treatment is a 'pre-wash' serum that has been specially developed for a clean, healthy scalp and healthy, shiny hair.
Salicylic acid removes flakes (dead skin cells, dandruff) and prevents the accumulation of styling products, which clog the scalp and hair follicles and unnecessarily weigh the hair down. In addition, salicylic acid reduces excessive sebum production in the scalp, which helps combat greasy hair, itching and dandruff. Exfoliating the scalp regularly helps prevent this. The Healthy Scalp Exfoliating Treatment also has a calming, anti-inflammatory effect, supports and strengthens the microbiome and the skin barrier, hydrates the scalp and contributes to healthy hair growth.
Unlike a scalp scrub, this serum can be rinsed quickly and easily, which is especially nice for longer hair, where scrub grains are difficult to rinse out.

How to use
Apply to dry, unwashed hair along the scalp, leaving a 1-2 cm separation between hairs. Massage into a soft foam and leave for 1-10 minutes. Rinse well with water
and follow up with shampoo and conditioner as usual. Max. Use 3x a week.
Ingredients
SALICYLIC ACID (encapsulated; therefore water soluble): exfoliates the scalp, removes excess sebum and dirt, reduces inflammation, regulates sebum production in the hair follicle and is useful in removing flaky hyperkeratolytic skin. Salicylic acid has superior oil solubility and is therefore the most effective fruit acid for oily areas such as the scalp.
AUSTRALIAN DESERT LIME: Rich in antioxidants, vitamin C, protein-building amino acids and anti-inflammatory and moisture-building glycosides that promote hair and scalp health.
ANETHOLEA ANISATA (ANISE MYRTLE) LEAF EXTRACT: This native Australian plant is rich in natural compounds and antioxidants that help strengthen the microbiome. Also helps increase shine, strength and sense of elasticity of the hair.
RICE VINEGAR COMPLEX: Blend of rice vinegar, chrysanthemum flower, polygonum roots and moisture-building glycerin that help detangle and smooth hair, promote healthy hair growth and improve shine.
MANUKA, BLACK PEPPER AND MAGNOLIA EXTRACT: Blend of lipophilic extracts, helps support the scalp's microbiome and helps inhibit the growth of Cutibacterium acnes (C. acnes) and scalp inflammation.
