Delilah Concealer

Cream concealers from Delilah in various sizes and finishes

For many women, a concealer is an essential daily step: it makes dark circles less visible, corrects localized redness, and softens pigmentation spots without the need for a thick layer of foundation. Once you find a concealer that matches both your skin tone and desired result, you rarely want to go back to universal alternatives. This is especially true for mature and sensitive skin.

Within the Delilah cosmetics concealer range, you will find two award-winning cream concealers, each developed with a different formulation philosophy. Both are among the most highly regarded in their category — a positive delilah concealer review is no coincidence. The choice between them depends on your skin needs, the desired finish, and whether you more often struggle with fine lines or dullness and tired-looking circles.

How do you choose the right delilah concealer?

The choice between the two delilah concealer variants is determined by three factors: the skin issue you mainly want to address, the desired finish on the skin, and the texture of the formula that best suits your skin type. Those who want to soften fine lines and dryness around the eyes benefit from a different formulation than those who mainly want to brighten dullness and dark circles. The format also plays a role — a stick is distinctly precise, while a cream in a tube is better suited for broader coverage. The subtypes below will help you find the right match.

Which type of Delilah concealer suits you?

Farewell Cream Concealer: This stick concealer is developed for those who want to address visible fine lines and dryness around the eyes. Thanks to the hyaluronic filling spheres — microscopic beads of hyaluronic acid that absorb water and mechanically fill lines — this is the ideal choice for mature skin and delicate eye contours. The stick format allows precise targeting of dark circles, pigmentation spots, and small imperfections without waste.

Take Cover Radiant Cream Concealer: This cream concealer in a tube is aimed at those who want to refresh dullness, tired circles, and imperfections with a radiant, dewy demi-matte finish. The highly pigmented formula with light-reflecting pigments offers medium to full buildable coverage, enriched with Acanthium flower extract, Vitamin E, and argan oil. Especially suitable for those seeking a healthy glow without a matte finish.

Tips for the right choice

First determine your main goal. If you mainly want to soften lines and fill the skin around the eyes, Farewell is the most targeted choice. If you want a lively, refreshed look that counteracts dullness, Take Cover is better suited.

Consider the finish that matches your other makeup. If you use a matte foundation, a radiant concealer like Take Cover works well as an accent under the eyes. With a dewy foundation, Farewell can provide a good contrast on specific correction spots.

Always match both skin tone and undertone. Both ranges offer different shades with cool, neutral, or warm undertones. If you are unsure about your undertone, look at your wrists in daylight: translucent blue-green veins indicate cool-neutral, green veins indicate warm.

Consider your skin type as a whole. Mature and dry skin around the eyes benefits from the hyaluronic filling spheres of Farewell. Tired or dull-looking skin benefits more from the light-reflecting effect of Take Cover.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Farewell and the Take Cover Cream Concealer?

Both are cream concealers from Delilah but with different focuses. Farewell is a stick concealer with hyaluronic filling spheres, developed to fill fine lines and care for dry skin around the eyes. Take Cover is a cream concealer in a tube with light-reflecting pigments for a dewy demi-matte finish, aimed at refreshing dullness and tired circles. The choice depends on your main goal: softening lines or brighter eyes.

Which Delilah cosmetics concealer suits my skin type?

For dry, mature, and sensitive skin around the eyes, Farewell is usually the best match thanks to its hydrating, filling technology. For normal, combination, or oilier skin — or for skin that mainly needs a fresh, radiant look — Take Cover is often more suitable. Both formulas are paraben-free, dermatologically tested, vegan, and cruelty-free.

Can I use both concealers together?

Certainly. Many users choose Farewell for the thin, drier skin around the eyes and Take Cover for targeted correction of blemishes, redness, and pigmentation spots elsewhere on the face. This combination provides the flexibility to treat each area with the most suitable formula. In a delilah concealer review, you will often find this combination recommended.

Are these concealers suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Both Farewell and Take Cover are paraben-free, dermatologically tested, and free from harsh ingredients. Both contain nourishing, plant-based components. For very reactive skin, we recommend testing first on a small area inside the wrist. The suitability of a Delilah cosmetics concealer for sensitive skin is one of the reasons why the brand is internationally loved and positively reviewed.
