Jane Iredale Glow Time Blush Stick

Multitasking cream blush stick in six shades for a dewy, radiant flush

The Jane Iredale Glow Time Blush Stick is a creamy stick blush that melts into the skin rather than sitting on top. The formula glides on streak-free, blends seamlessly, and delivers a dewy, radiant finish — especially pleasant for mature, dry, and tired skin. Enriched with jojoba oil for hydration, vegan ceresine wax for stability, and caprylic/capric triglyceride (from coconut oil) for smooth glide, the blush cares for the skin while wearing.

What makes the Glow Time Blush Stick unique within the Jane Iredale blush range is its multifunctionality: consciously designed to be worn on cheeks, lips, and body. In one product, you have a cream blush, a lip color, and a monochrome look solution. Six shades cover the full spectrum of skin undertones and occasions, divided into three matte shades without shimmer and three shimmer-containing shades with pearly or golden light reflection. The entire line is vegan, gluten-free, and cruelty-free.

Why choose Jane Iredale Glow Time Blush Stick?

Jane Iredale has been a leader in mineral, skin-friendly makeup for over 25 years. The Glow Time Blush Stick combines that philosophy with a modern, practical form: a cream formula that works on cheeks, lips, and body, in a compact stick format that fits in any bag for on-the-go and touch-ups. The cream is buildable — one soft swipe gives a subtle daytime flush, multiple layers lead to a pronounced evening look. The dewy finish makes the stick especially suitable for dry, mature, and tired skin where powder blushes can appear flat or dry. For the most refined application, Jane Iredale herself recommends the Multiuse Blending Brush; additionally, the Cheek Brush and Liquid Complexion Brush are officially compatible for precision or multifunctional use across different textures.

Find your ideal shade

Matte shades without shimmer — for character and muted wearability

Jane Iredale Glow Time Blush Stick Balmy is the saturated berry rose — a muted, characterful shade that enriches the cheeks and adds maturity, especially fitting for autumn and winter looks. Jane Iredale Glow Time Blush Stick Ember is the bright raspberry pink — a saturated vibrant shade that instantly energizes the cheeks and works on almost every skin tone. Jane Iredale Glow Time Blush Stick Fervor is the playful bubblegum pink — a youthful, refreshing shade suitable for spring, summer, and vacation looks.

Shimmering shades — for brightness and glow

Jane Iredale Glow Time Blush Stick Mist is the soft cool pink with subtle shimmer — a refined, brightening day blush that looks natural on cool skin and can also be used as a light highlighter. Jane Iredale Glow Time Blush Stick Enchanted is the soft pink brown with golden shimmer — a multitasker that functions as blush, subtle bronzer, and highlighter, ideal for warm and neutral skin. Jane Iredale Glow Time Blush Stick Glorious is the rich chestnut red with golden shimmer — the most pronounced warm shade, particularly harmonious on medium brown to dark skin and as a warm evening statement on lighter complexions.

Find your ideal brush

The Glow Time Blush Stick can be applied directly with fingers but works with three officially compatible Jane Iredale brushes for a more refined result:

Official recommendation from Jane Iredale

The Multiuse Blending Brush is the brush personally recommended by Jane Iredale for the Glow Time Blush Stick. Graduated fibers and a slanted profile blend the cream seamlessly over the cheeks without harsh edges or concentrated spots. Especially suitable for those who want a consistent, even flush.

For targeted precision and vibrant color placement

The Cheek Brush has a round, half-full dome with airy fiber tips that first place color concentrated and then softly diffuse it. Especially suitable for those who want to place blush as a targeted, vibrant flush on the apples of the cheeks, or for layering cream + powder combinations where a powder blush is tapped over the cream layer.

For multifunctional use across textures

The Liquid Complexion Brush has a wide paddle shape with firm tapered fibers for streak-free application and is compatible with liquid, cream, and powder textures. An excellent choice for those who want one brush for the entire routine — foundation, blush, and bronzer in the same tool.

How to use the Glow Time Blush Stick?

1. First finish your complexion with foundation or a light tinted cream for an even base
2. Twist the chosen stick open slightly and apply one soft swipe on the rounded apple of each cheek — always start with minimal dosage, the cream is saturated and buildable
3. Blend immediately with the Multiuse Blending Brush or fingers — the warmth of your skin helps the cream to melt
4. For multifunctional use across different textures: swipe the stick out with the Liquid Complexion Brush for a consistent routine from foundation to bronzer
5. For extra precision and vibrant color placement on the apples: use the Cheek Brush for concentrated placement and soft blending
6. For layering and longer wear: after blending, tap a light layer of PurePressed Blush over the cream layer — the powder layer sets the cream and extends wear time
7. For lips: apply a light swipe directly or tap out with a finger — for a monochrome look, combine the same shade on cheeks and lips

Frequently Asked Questions

Which shade suits my skin best?

First determine your undertone. For cool undertones, Mist, Balmy, Ember, and Fervor work most naturally. For warm undertones, Enchanted and Glorious are better choices. For medium brown to dark skin, Glorious is often the most harmonious main blush, with Ember as a lively accent. For cool light skin, Mist is the most refined day blush; for cool skin seeking character, choose Balmy.

What is the difference with the ColorLuxe Liquid Blush?

The ColorLuxe Liquid Blush is a liquid blush with eight hours of proven wear comfort, in a bottle with a doe-foot applicator. The Glow Time Blush Stick is a cream stick — more practical on the go, multitasking on cheeks and lips, and with a creamy texture that feels different from the more watery liquid formula. For pure cheeks use with maximum wear time, the ColorLuxe Liquid Blush is the stronger choice; for multifunctional use and on-the-go touch-ups, the Glow Time Blush Stick is more practical.

Can I really wear the Glow Time Blush Stick on my lips?

Yes, this is one of the intentional uses. The cream formula with jojoba oil feels comfortable on the lips and delivers the same color as on the cheeks — especially suitable for a monochrome look where lip color and blush are coordinated. For extra comfort, apply a lip balm first; for longer wear, tap a light layer of PurePressed Blush over with the Cheek Brush.

Does the color fade quickly during the day?

The cream formula is deliberately designed to integrate into the skin rather than sit on top, which keeps the color in place longer than a classic cream blush. For extra wear time — for example on long days, occasions, or parties — tap a light layer of PurePressed Blush over the cream with the Cheek Brush. The powder layer sets the cream and extends wear throughout the day.

Is a separate brush really necessary?

No — Jane Iredale explicitly states that the Glow Time Blush Stick can also be applied well with fingers. The warmth of the skin helps the cream to melt. For a more refined, even result, however, a brush is recommended: Jane Iredale officially advises the Multiuse Blending Brush. Those who also regularly want targeted color placement or to tap powder blush over the cream layer can add the Cheek Brush. For multifunctional use across multiple products, choose the Liquid Complexion Brush.

Is this blush suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. The formula contains jojoba oil (soothing), vegan ceresine wax (stabilizing), and caprylic/capric triglyceride from coconut oil (sliding and caring). No perfumes or harsh additives are included. For skin that reacts to classic cream blushes, the Glow Time Blush Stick is often still well tolerated.

Are all shades vegan and gluten-free?

Yes, the entire Glow Time Blush Stick line is vegan and gluten-free. Jane Iredale is also officially cruelty-free certified by both the Leaping Bunny Program and PETA — a label indicating that no animal testing is done at any stage of production.

How long does one stick last?

With daily use, a 7.5 g stick typically lasts six to twelve months, depending on how intensely you apply the blush and whether you also use it on the lips. One swipe per cheek is enough for a full look, making the stick very economical to use.
