Jane Iredale Glow Time Bronzer Stick

Multitasking cream bronzer stick in three shades for natural sun-kissed warmth

The Jane Iredale Glow Time Bronzer Stick is a creamy stick bronzer that melts into the skin and leaves a radiant, sun-kissed matte-satin finish. Without shimmer but with buildable pigmentation, this bronzer works both as an all-over warmth accent and as a targeted sculpting contour. The formula glides on streak-free, blends seamlessly, and nourishes the skin with jojoba oil for hydration, vegan ceresine wax for stability, and caprylic/capric triglyceride (from coconut oil) for smooth application.

What sets the Jane Iredale bronzer stick apart from classic powder bronzers is not only the shape—practical and compact for on the go—but also the intentional multifunctionality. The cream is designed to be worn on both face and body, allowing you to keep your cheeks bronzed while giving collarbones, shoulders, and décolleté a radiant, healthy appearance with one product. Three shades cover the full spectrum of skin undertones: from light to deep skin, each specially formulated to harmoniously integrate with your natural skin warmth rather than clash with it.

Why choose Jane Iredale Glow Time Bronzer Stick?

Jane Iredale has been a leader in mineral, skin-friendly makeup for over 25 years. The Glow Time Bronzer Stick combines that philosophy with a modern, practical form: a cream formula that integrates into the skin instead of sitting on top. On mature and dry skin—where powder bronzers often apply dry or emphasize fine lines—this cream stick gives a dewy, youthful-looking finish. The formula contains no shimmer, making the bronzer suitable for targeted contouring (shadows should be matte), and the shade is buildable from subtle daytime warmth to a pronounced evening look. For the most refined application, Jane Iredale recommends the Multiuse Blending Brush or fingers; additionally, the Cheek Brush and Liquid Complexion Brush are officially compatible for precision or multifunctional use over textures.

Find your ideal shade

Each Jane Iredale bronzer stick is specially formulated for a specific part of the skin spectrum. Choose based on how dark your skin is and your undertone—the three shades harmoniously integrate with their intended skin range without compromising naturalness.

For light to medium skin—golden bronze warmth

Jane Iredale Glow Time Bronzer Stick Sizzle is the lightest shade in the line: a warm golden bronze without shimmer that works as natural sun-kissed warmth on light to medium skin. Specially designed to harmonize with both cool and warm light skin tones, and subtle enough for daily use.

For medium to dark skin—copper bronze dimension

Jane Iredale Glow Time Bronzer Stick Scorch is the middle choice: a warm copper bronze without shimmer that integrates particularly naturally on olive, medium brown, and dark complexions with warm undertones. Works as the main bronzer on medium to dark skin and as a pronounced sculpting contour on lighter skin tones.

For dark to deep skin—chocolate bronze richness

Jane Iredale Glow Time Bronzer Stick Blaze is the deepest shade: a rich chocolate bronze specially designed for dark and deep skin. Without gray or ashy undertones—consciously formulated for deep skin, with a pronounced warm chocolate undertone that harmonizes with natural skin warmth.

Find your ideal brush

The Jane Iredale bronzer stick can be applied directly with fingers—the warmth of the skin helps blend the cream. For a more refined result, the stick works with three officially compatible Jane Iredale brushes:

Official recommendation from Jane Iredale

The Multiuse Blending Brush is the brush Jane Iredale herself recommends for the Glow Time Bronzer Stick. Graduated fibers and a slanted profile blend the cream seamlessly over larger areas—forehead, cheekbones, jawline—without harsh edges or concentrated spots.

For targeted contour and precision

The Cheek Brush has a round, semi-full dome with airy fiber tips that first place color concentrated and then diffuse it softly. Especially suitable for targeted contouring under the cheekbone and along the hairline, or for layering cream + powder combinations.

For multifunctional use over textures

The Liquid Complexion Brush has a wide paddle shape with firm tapered fibers for streak-free application. Compatible with liquid, cream, and powder textures—one brush for the entire routine, including the bronzer stick.

How to use the Glow Time Bronzer Stick?

1. First, finish your complexion with foundation or a light tinted cream for an even base
2. Twist the stick open slightly and apply soft strokes to the areas where the sun naturally hits first: forehead, cheekbones, bridge of the nose, and jawline—for an all-over sun-kissed look
3. Blend immediately with the Multiuse Blending Brush (official Jane Iredale recommendation) or with fingers—the warmth of your skin helps the cream melt in
4. For targeted contour: load the Cheek Brush with bronzer and draw a diagonal line under the cheekbone, along the hairline, and under the jawline—exactly where shadow naturally falls
5. For multifunctional use over textures: blend the stick out with the Liquid Complexion Brush, which is compatible with liquid, cream, and powder textures—one brush for the entire routine
6. For décolleté and body: lightly sweep along the collarbone, tops of the shoulders, and along arms and legs for a radiant, sun-kissed appearance
7. Build up in thin layers—start with minimal application and add only if you really want more warmth or definition
8. For extra wear time: after blending, tap a light layer of PureBronze Matte Bronzer over the cream—the powder layer sets the cream and extends its longevity

Frequently Asked Questions

Which shade suits my skin best?

Jane Iredale has specially matched the three shades to specific skin ranges. Sizzle (golden bronze) is for light to medium skin, Scorch (copper bronze) for medium to dark skin, and Blaze (chocolate bronze) for dark to deep skin. For targeted contour on lighter skin, a deeper shade than your main bronzer can be deliberately chosen—for example, Scorch as contour on light-medium skin, or Blaze as contour on medium brown skin. If in doubt between two adjacent shades, choose the lighter one: the cream is buildable, so layering more is always possible.

What is the difference with the PureBronze Matte Bronzer Refill?

Both are matte bronzers without shimmer from Jane Iredale but differ in form and application. The PureBronze Matte Bronzer Refill is a powder bronzer in a refillable compact—ideal for even finishing over foundation, applicable with separate brushes, and longer wear time. The Jane Iredale bronzer stick is a cream stick—more practical on the go, usable on both face and body, and with a dewy finish that feels different from the matte powder formula. Many users combine both: the stick as a cream base for warmth from within, the matte powder on top for even finish and extra wear time.

Can the bronzer stick really be worn on my body?

Yes, this is one of the intentional uses. The cream formula with jojoba oil feels comfortable on the skin and delivers the same bronze warmth to collarbones, shoulders, arms, and legs as on the face—especially suitable for summer, vacation, and special occasion looks. For a bronzed décolleté appearance, lightly sweep along the collarbone and tops of the shoulders, then blend immediately with fingers or the Multiuse Blending Brush.

Does the color fade quickly during the day?

The cream formula is deliberately designed to integrate into the skin rather than sit on top, which keeps the color in place longer than a classic cream bronzer. For extra wear time—such as longer days, warm weather, or events—tap a light layer of PureBronze Matte Bronzer over the cream with a Cheek Brush or Powder Complexion Brush. The powder layer sets the cream and extends longevity throughout the day.

Is a separate brush really necessary?

No—Jane Iredale explicitly states that the bronzer stick can also be applied well with fingers. The warmth of the skin helps blend the cream, and for small areas like the bridge of the nose or cheekbone, fingers work quickly and efficiently. For a more refined, even result over larger areas, however, a brush is recommended: Jane Iredale officially advises the Multiuse Blending Brush. Those who also regularly do targeted contouring can add the Cheek Brush.

Is this bronzer suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. The formula contains jojoba oil (soothing), vegan ceresine wax (stabilizing), and caprylic/capric triglyceride from coconut oil (slip and nourishing). No perfumes or harsh additives are included. For skin that reacts to classic cream or powder bronzers, the Glow Time Bronzer Stick is often still well tolerated.

Do the shades contain shimmer or glitter?

No, all three shades are completely matte—without shimmer, glitter, or pearlescent particles. This makes the bronzer suitable for targeted contouring (shadows should be matte) and for those seeking a refined, natural look without shine. For shimmer or glow, we refer to the Glow Time Highlighter Stick Solstice from the same Glow Time family.

Are all shades vegan and gluten-free?

Yes, the entire Glow Time Bronzer Stick line is vegan and gluten-free. Jane Iredale is also officially cruelty-free certified by both the Leaping Bunny Program and PETA—a certification indicating that no animal testing occurs at any stage of production.

How long does one stick last?

With daily use, a 7.5 g stick typically lasts six to twelve months, depending on how intensely you apply the bronzer and whether you also use it on the body. A few soft strokes per use are enough for a full look, making the stick very economical to use.
