Jane Iredale Lash Fixation Tubing Mascara

Tubing mascara for long, defined lashes

A good mascara does more than add color: it lifts, separates, and defines every lash, and stays in place all day without smudging. Yet this is exactly where many traditional mascaras fall short — smudging under the eyes, clumping, and a dull finish by the end of the day.

Jane Iredale’s Lash Fixation Tubing Mascara works on a different principle. Instead of laying pigment on the lash, the formula forms small flexible tubes around each individual lash. This tubing technology provides long-lasting hold, lift, and definition, and can be easily removed at the end of the day with lukewarm water — no makeup remover or rubbing needed.

Why choose a tubing mascara?

Tubing mascara coats each lash in a 360-degree polymer tube. This keeps the mascara smudge-resistant, prevents it from flaking on or under the eyes, and ensures all-day wear. Jane Iredale’s formula is also ophthalmologist-tested, suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers, and completely vegan and cruelty-free. Nourishing ingredients like carnauba wax, jojoba oil, and a rice curl complex lift lashes, hold the curl, and help keep lashes hydrated and protected.

Find your ideal color

The Lash Fixation Tubing Mascara comes in two shades, each with its own character.

Choose Lash Fixation Tubing Mascara in Black for a classic, deep black, and sharply defined eye look. This shade sharply outlines the lash line, opens up the eyes, and delivers maximum intensity — ideal for those who love bold lashes, day and night.

Choose Lash Fixation Tubing Mascara in Brown for a softer, natural definition. The warm brown shade flatters lighter eye colors, lighter hair, and mature skin, giving a bright, open look without harsh lines — perfect for subtle everyday makeup.

How do you use a tubing mascara?

1. Place the brush at the base of the lashes, close to the lash line.
2. Pull the brush upward through the lashes to lift and separate.
3. Work from root to tip for maximum length and even definition.
4. Apply a second coat while the first is still wet to build color intensity.
5. Remove the mascara by saturating the lashes with lukewarm water and gently sliding the tubes off the lashes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is a tubing mascara?

A tubing mascara forms small flexible polymer tubes around each individual lash, instead of applying pigment on the lash. This provides exceptional separation, hold, and durability, and ensures the mascara doesn’t smudge or transfer throughout the day.

Should I choose Black or Brown?

Black gives a deep black, strongly defined result and is the choice for bold, wide-open eyes. Brown gives a softer, natural definition and looks less harsh — a beautiful choice for lighter eye colors, lighter hair, mature skin, or a subtle everyday makeup.

Is this mascara suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers?

Yes. Both shades have the same light, long-lasting formula that is ophthalmologist tested and suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

How do I remove the mascara?

Simply use lukewarm water and gentle pressure, without cleanser or makeup remover. Saturate the lashes with warm water and gently slide the lash-shaped tubes off the lashes.
