Dr Schrammek Sensitive & Sensiderm

The dermatologically developed line that not only soothes sensitive skin but also makes it structurally stronger

Sensitive skin requires an approach that is calming, protective, and nourishing. Whether it concerns chronic redness, couperose, rosacea, or skin that has temporarily become unbalanced — the right care makes the difference between constant reactivity and a calm, healthy complexion. The Dr Schrammek Sensitive Line is specially developed for this skin type and offers a complete, dermatologically supported routine.

Developed by dermatologist Dr. med. Christine Schrammek-Drusio, the Sensitive line combines scientifically proven active ingredients with the mildest plant extracts. Redness, itching, burning, and tightness are immediately soothed, while the skin barrier is structurally strengthened for skin that eventually reacts less to stress, weather changes, and environmental factors.

Why choose the Dr Schrammek Sensitive Line?

The Dr Schrammek Sensitive Line stands out through a combination of German dermatological precision and proven plant-based efficacy. Every product in the line is dermatologically tested and free from fragrance, colorants, parabens, mineral oils, and PEG derivatives — substances that most often irritate sensitive skin. Important patented complexes such as Defensil®, Biotilys®, AnnonaSenseCLR™, and the 7-part MultiEx BSASM herbal complex offer a targeted approach that goes beyond symptom relief. The line is completely vegan and climate-friendly packaged, without compromising effectiveness. Clinical studies confirm the efficacy of several products, including a demonstrable strengthening of the skin barrier with +29% hydration and -30% transepidermal water loss in ProbioSense.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between sensitive skin and sensitized skin?

Sensitive skin is usually genetically determined and chronically reacts to stimuli due to a naturally weakened skin barrier. Sensitized skin, on the other hand, is skin that has become temporarily unbalanced due to external factors — such as overuse of active skincare, stress, pollution, or sun damage. The Dr Schrammek Sensitive Line is suitable for both situations: the products soothe immediate stress reactions and help structurally strengthen the skin barrier for less reactivity in the long term.

Which Dr Schrammek cream suits my skin best?

The right choice depends on your specific skin needs. For chronic redness and couperose, choose the Rosea Calm Cream with green pigments that immediately neutralize redness. For dry to very dry sensitive skin needing nourishment, the Sensiderm Stress Protect Cream is ideal. For structural barrier repair and microbiome balance, choose the ProbioSense. And for acute irritation or hot flashes, reach for the Soothing SOS Fluid for immediate relief with a pleasant cooling effect.

Can I combine products from the Sensitive Line with other active skincare like retinol or vitamin C?

With sensitive skin, caution is advised with strong active ingredients such as retinol, AHAs, and high-dose vitamin C, as these can weaken the skin barrier and worsen redness. If you want to introduce other actives, do so gradually and preferably not simultaneously with the Sensitive products. Start with one new active at a time and give the skin at least 4 weeks to adjust before adding another product.

Are the products from the Sensitive Line suitable after a professional skin treatment such as peeling or laser?

Yes, the Dr Schrammek Sensitive Line is highly suitable as aftercare following mild to moderate professional treatments such as superficial peels, IPL, and microneedling. The calming ingredients like Defensil®, panthenol, Centella asiatica, and aloe vera support the recovery process, while the 7-part herbal complex and AnnonaSenseCLR™ make the skin more resilient. Always follow the specific advice of your skin therapist or dermatologist on when to resume skincare after treatment.
