Delilah Wake Up Radiant Skin Tint

Skin tint collection for a dewy, sun-kissed glow

A skincare skin tint is increasingly replacing the classic foundation in the daily routine — not because coverage is unimportant, but because modern skin prefers to breathe, glow, and look visibly healthy rather than disappear under a layer of pigment. Delilah developed Wake Up Radiant Skin Tint precisely for this shift: a light, hybrid formula that combines makeup and skincare in one step.

The collection consists of four shades — Opal, Solar, Bronze, and Amber — each catering to a specific undertone and skin tone. With a formula based on hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, squalane, and mango leaf extract, each variant provides the same dewy luminosity while the pigmentation adapts to the natural undertone of the skin.

Why choose a skin tint?

A skin tint is not a replacement for foundation in the traditional sense — it is a separate product category that answers a specific question: how do I give my skin a healthy glow without it looking like makeup? The transparent coverage lets the natural skin texture show through, while active ingredients provide skincare benefits. For those who like a dewy finish, have sensitive or mature skin, or simply want to simplify their routine, a skin tint is often more comfortable and sustainable than a classic foundation. Delilah’s Wake Up Radiant Skin Tint stands out in this category due to its high concentration of active ingredients and its award-winning, multifunctional character — awarded the Beauty Shortlist Editors Choice Award 2024 and the Global Makeup Awards Silver 2024.

Find your ideal shade

The four shades of the Wake Up collection range from light to dark and together cover a wide spectrum of skin tones and undertones. If you are unsure between two shades, you can always mix them for a customized color.

Opal: The lightest shade, a soft pearly nuance with cool to neutral undertone. Ideal for fair to light skin seeking brightness and light reflection, especially in the winter months or for a tired complexion.

Solar: A warm sandy shade with a golden-yellow undertone, suitable for light to light-medium skin that wants warmth and sun power without bronzing intensity. Works particularly well on skin with a dull or cool appearance.

Bronze: A gold-bronze tint for light to medium skin seeking a natural summer glow. Also popular as a liquid bronzer over lighter shades — a skin-friendly alternative to self-tanner or powder bronzer.

Amber: The darkest shade, a warm bronzy nuance for medium skin tones. On lighter skin types, it can be used as a liquid contour for cheekbones, jawline, and forehead.

How to use the Wake Up Skin Tint?

1. Thoroughly cleanse your face and optionally apply a serum to prepare the skin
2. Follow with your daily moisturizer and let it absorb for a few minutes
3. Pump one pump of the variant matching your skin tint — Opal, Solar, Bronze or Amber — onto your fingertips or a damp sponge
4. Distribute the tint with gentle tapping motions over forehead, cheekbones, nose, and chin, or apply a darker shade like Bronze or Amber specifically on cheekbones and jawline for a liquid contour over a lighter foundation
5. Always finish in the morning with a broad-spectrum sunscreen as the last step

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Wake Up shade suits my skin best?

The choice depends on your natural skin tone and undertone. Opal works on fair to light skin with cool or neutral undertone. Solar suits light to light-medium skin with warm-neutral undertone. Bronze is suitable for light to medium skin seeking warmth. Amber serves medium skin tones or can be used as a liquid bronzer on all skin types. If you are unsure between two shades, you can mix them for a precise match.

Is a skin tint the same as a BB cream or a light foundation?

A skin tint is related in positioning to a BB cream but differs at the formula level. Where BB creams often provide a matte finish and more coverage, Wake Up deliberately offers a more transparent, dewy finish with more focus on active skincare ingredients. A light foundation provides more pigmentation and is intended to visually even out the skin — a skin tint lets the skin show through.

Can I use Wake Up in combination with my foundation?

Yes, and that is one of the strengths of this formula. Mix one pump of Wake Up with your usual foundation for a more hydrated, radiant finish. You can also apply a darker shade like Bronze or Amber specifically over a lighter foundation to add extra warmth to cheekbones and jawline.

Is Wake Up suitable for mature skin?

Especially suitable. The light, dewy formula does not settle into fine lines — a common problem with classic foundations on mature skin. The combination of hyaluronic acid and squalane provides extra hydration and a plumped appearance, while niacinamide helps even out pigmentation irregularities.
