Delilah Stay The Night Smooth Shadow Stick

Cream shadow sticks in six shades for effortless eye makeup

Powder eyeshadows require brushes, blending techniques, and time — luxuries not available every morning. Cream shadow sticks have solved this problem for years, but most formulas crease in the eyelid folds, change color throughout the day, or dry out the delicate eye skin. Delilah launched the Delilah stay the night smooth shadow stick with a formula that eliminates exactly that problem: crease-proof, water- and sweat-resistant, enriched with nourishing oils, and accessible for every level of makeup experience.

Within this collection, you’ll find six shades from the Stay The Night range — selected for universal wearability, complementary within looks, and suitable for all skin undertones and eye colors. From base shades that work as a foundation under powder shadow to statement colors that serve as eyeliner substitutes: the collection covers the full spectrum from daily routines to evening drama.

Why choose the Delilah Stay The Night Smooth Shadow Stick?

These award-winning shadow sticks combine professional pigment quality with ease of use that rarely comes together. With one swipe, you apply an intense, long-lasting color on the eyelid — no brush, no blending technique, and no chance of the color redistributing later in the day. The crease-proof, water- and smudge-proof formula is enriched with jojoba oil and coconut oil, caring for the delicate eye skin during wear instead of drying it out. Reviews of the Delilah smooth shadow stick often highlight the product’s honest wear time — from early morning to late evening without touch-ups. Each Delilah smooth shadow stick is also vegan, paraben-free, ophthalmologically tested, B Corp certified, and equipped with a built-in sharpener for precision application.

Find your ideal shadow stick

These six shades cover three functions that appear in every well-built eye makeup: base colors that even out the eyelid and support other shades, warm statement tones that bring color and dimension, and definition that finishes the look.

Base and highlighter — for a polished neutral look and as a foundation under other colors:

Daisy Chain: Matte cream ivory without shimmer, ideal as a color-evening base under powder shadow or as a subtle highlighter for the brow bone and inner eye corner. The only variant enriched with ceramide and vitamins, making it the most nourishing stick in the range.

Pink Champagne: Pearlescent peach-pink that instantly refreshes tired eyes and visually opens the gaze. Exceptionally suitable as a highlighter in the inner eye corner and for no-makeup looks where you want to look anything but tired.

Warm statement tones — for color, dimension, and sun-kissed looks:

Cinnamon Swirl: Shimmering copper-bronze that brightens blue and green eyes through color contrast. On brown eyes, it creates a melted monochrome effect. The classic warm accent stick in the range.

Copper Beech: Warm taupe with subtle copper shine that works on every eye color and skin undertone. The neutral work color you reach for when you don’t want to think about color combinations.

Honey Moon: Pearlescent rose gold with a honey-sweet glow, enriched with shea butter and aloe vera. The most refined stick in the range, exceptionally suitable for bridal and festive looks.

Definition — for smoky eyes and waterline:

Hot Chocolate: Deep chocolate brown with subtle sparkle as a warm alternative to black eyeliner. Safe for the waterline and more flattering on every eye type than classic black definition.

How to use the Delilah Stay The Night Smooth Shadow Stick?

1. Ensure a clean, dry eyelid and optionally apply Delilah Wake Up Radiant Eye Perfector as a base for optimal color adhesion
2. Twist open the stick and pull out the cap on the other side to reveal the built-in sharpener — sharpen if needed for a precise tip
3. Choose your starting point: for a minimalist look, use one stick over the entire eyelid; for layered looks, combine base, statement shade, and definition
4. Apply the stick directly to the eyelid with short, light strokes along the lash line or over the entire movable part of the lid
5. Blend within 20 seconds — the formula sets quickly afterward — using your fingertip or a fluffy eyeshadow brush
6. Deepen if desired with a second shade in the crease or outer corner for extra dimension
7. Apply a lighter shade in the inner corner and under the brow bone for an open, awake look
8. Finish with eyeliner or Hot Chocolate along the lash line for definition, plus mascara as the final step

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the right shade for my eye color?

As a rule of thumb: warm shades like Cinnamon Swirl, Copper Beech, and Honey Moon flatter blue, gray, and green eyes through color contrast. Brown eyes get a monochrome, melted effect from these. Hot Chocolate and Daisy Chain are universal — every eye color benefits from them. Pink Champagne refreshes any eye regardless of color.

Can I combine multiple sticks in one look?

Absolutely — this is even the recommended way for layered eye looks. A classic scheme: Daisy Chain as a base over the entire lid, Cinnamon Swirl or Copper Beech on the movable part, Hot Chocolate in the outer corner and along the lash line, Pink Champagne in the inner corner and under the brow bone. Reviews of the Delilah smooth shadow stick often mention how seamlessly the sticks blend together due to the identical base formula.

Are these shadow sticks suitable for mature eyes?

Particularly suitable. The cream texture does not pull on the delicate eye skin during application, does not settle into fine lines or eyelid folds, and camouflages texture instead of emphasizing it. For those who find classic powder shadows problematic on mature eyelids, the Delilah stay the night smooth shadow stick offers a noticeable difference in the final result.

How long does a shadow stick last with daily use?

With normal daily use, a shadow stick lasts nine to twelve months. The built-in sharpener allows you to regularly create a fresh tip, which benefits both precision and hygiene. Store the sticks in a cool, dry place and closed when not in use to keep the formula stable.
