Jane Iredale Hydropure Tinted Serum

Tinted serum with hyaluronic acid for a radiant, cared-for complexion

A foundation that truly works for your skin — that is the premise of the Jane Iredale HydroPure Serums. This line combines the effect of hydrating skincare with the evening power of a lightweight tinted product, for a complexion that looks just as good up close as from afar. Hyaluronic acid (2%), olive squalane, and CoQ10 provide active skincare with every application.

The HydroPure Serums come in eight shades covering the full range of skin tones — from the lightest porcelain beige to the deepest ebony brown shade — complemented by a color-correcting variant that neutralizes visible redness. Each shade is tailored to the warmth and depth of a specific skin tone, so the serum enhances the natural complexion instead of masking it.

Why choose a tinted serum?

A tinted serum sits between a classic foundation and bare skin: it offers sheer coverage that softens imperfections and evens out the complexion without weighing down or masking the skin surface. The big difference with a regular foundation is that a tinted serum actively cares for the skin at the same time. For the Jane Iredale HydroPure Serums, this means: hyaluronic acid that immediately hydrates and plumps the skin, CoQ10 that neutralizes free radicals, and olive squalane that strengthens the moisture barrier. The skin looks better with every application and benefits in the long term.

Find your ideal shade

The HydroPure Tinted Serum is available in eight precisely matched shades for every skin tone:

For very light to light skin: HydroPure Tinted Serum Fair 1 has a cool porcelain beige tint that refines the skin without thinning it. HydroPure Tinted Serum Light 2 offers a warm ivory beige for light skin with a soft, natural glow.

For light to medium skin: HydroPure Tinted Serum Light to Medium 3 matches a warm sand beige tone with a neutral undertone. HydroPure Tinted Serum Medium 4 is a warm gold beige shade that brings out the skin’s natural warmth.

For medium to dark skin: HydroPure Tinted Serum Medium to Dark 5 has a warm caramel beige tint with a golden undertone that beautifully supports deeper midtones. HydroPure Tinted Serum Dark 6 is a rich espresso brown-beige shade that fully respects the warmth of dark skin.

For the deepest skin tones: HydroPure Tinted Serum Deep 7 offers a warm mahogany brown tint with earthy depth. HydroPure Tinted Serum Deeper 8 is the most intense shade in the range — a deep brown-ebony color for the richest skin tones.

Skin with visible redness or couperose? The HydroPure Color Correcting Serum uses a sheer green tint to visually neutralize redness, while allantoin, hyaluronic acid, and CoQ10 soothe and hydrate the skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the HydroPure Tinted Serum and the HydroPure Color Correcting Serum?

The HydroPure Tinted Serum is available in eight skin-tone shades and is intended for daily evening and hydration of the complexion. The HydroPure Color Correcting Serum has a sheer green tint and is specifically developed for skin with visible redness — the green color visually neutralizes red based on the color wheel. Both serums share the same active skincare core with hyaluronic acid, CoQ10, and olive squalane.

Can I use the HydroPure Tinted Serum if I want to wear foundation?

Yes. The serum works excellently as a hydrating and evening base under a foundation. Jane Iredale recommends the Amazing Base Loose Mineral Powder and the PurePressed Base Mineral Foundation as layers on top of the serum for extra coverage. The serum then provides a smoother skin surface on which mineral foundations adhere even more evenly.

Is the HydroPure Tinted Serum suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. The formula contains no fragrances or harsh active ingredients and is enriched with a mix of skin-soothing ingredients: calendula, aloe vera, oat kernel extract, and willow bark extract work together to reduce irritation and redness. The mineral pigments are encapsulated in liposomes, so they do not directly irritate the skin. The serum is suitable for all skin types, including reactive skin and skin after professional treatments.

Do the HydroPure Serums contain SPF?

No, none of the HydroPure Serums contain a rated SPF protection. Daily UV protection remains essential, even in winter. Jane Iredale advises topping the serum with broad-spectrum sun protection as the last step of the morning routine, or with a jane iredale foundation with SPF for combined coverage and protection.
