Alpha-H Midnight Reboot Serum 50ml
Description
Description
Retinol glycolic acid serum for skin renewal at night
During sleep, the skin undergoes its natural repair process, but this cycle slows down with aging. Dead skin cells remain longer on the surface, fine lines become more visible, and the skin loses its natural glow. Glycolic acid and retinol are two of the most researched ingredients to speed up this process but were long considered incompatible in one formula.
Alpha-H Midnight Reboot Serum is the first serum to combine 14% glycolic acid and 1% Granactive Retinoid in a stable formula. It works overnight with the skin’s natural repair rhythm and accelerates cell renewal by about 40%. In clinical studies, 83% of users saw improved skin tone and 63% noticed firmer, more resilient skin. The result is smoother, brighter, and visibly younger-looking skin upon waking.
Benefits
- Accelerates skin renewal by about 40% with 14% glycolic acid
- Reduces fine lines, wrinkles, and pigmentation spots through granactive retinoid
- Stimulates collagen and hyaluronic acid production for firmer skin appearance
- Evens skin tone and gives the skin an immediate glow upon waking
- Works synergistically without the irritation of classic retinol or high-dose AHAs
Active ingredients
Glycolic Acid 14% (AHA): The smallest molecule among alpha hydroxy acids, allowing it to penetrate deeper into the skin than other AHAs. Glycolic acid dissolves the bonds between dead skin cells and accelerates the natural exfoliation cycle. Additionally, it stimulates the production of the skin’s own collagen and hyaluronic acid.
Granactive Retinoid 1% (Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate): A new generation retinoid that binds more directly to the retinoid receptor than classic retinol. Granactive Retinoid offers similar anti-aging and cell renewal results but without the typical irritation, flaking, or dryness often caused by retinol.
Tripeptide-5 (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5): A peptide that signals the skin to produce more collagen. It improves skin elasticity and firmness and helps visibly soften fine lines and wrinkles.
Ferulic Acid: A powerful plant-based antioxidant that combats oxidative stress and prevents collagen breakdown. Ferulic acid enhances the effect of vitamin E and protects skin cells during the renewal process.
Co-enzyme Q10 (Ubiquinone): A natural antioxidant that supports energy production in skin cells. Q10 helps soften pigmentation spots and post-acne marks and contributes to a more even skin tone.
Sea Buckthorn Extract & Tasman Pepper: Two plant-based ingredients that soothe the skin during exfoliation. Sea Buckthorn is rich in omega fatty acids and vitamins, Tasman Pepper has anti-inflammatory properties and reduces redness.

Frequently asked questions
How often can I use this serum?
Start with two to three evenings per week and gradually increase to alternating use or daily, depending on skin tolerance. Experienced users of AHAs can use it on alternating evenings with Liquid Gold or another active night product.
Can I use this during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
No. The serum contains a retinoid (Granactive Retinoid) and is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Choose a vitamin E or vitamin B serum as a safe alternative during this period.
Is this suitable for sensitive skin?
This serum is an advanced formula and less suitable for very sensitive or reactive skin. However, the granactive retinoid is milder than classic retinol. For sensitive skin, it is advisable to first perform a patch test and use the serum at most once or twice a week, possibly alternating with a restorative serum.
Can I combine this with other active ingredients?
Do not combine this serum in the same routine with vitamin C, other retinol products, or additional AHAs or BHAs. Use vitamin C in the morning and the Midnight Reboot Serum in the evening. A hydrating serum with hyaluronic acid or a restorative serum with ceramides pairs well.
