Alpha-H Reusable Bamboo Cotton Pads 7 pack
Description
Description
Reusable cotton pads made from bamboo and organic cotton
An average skincare routine uses two to four cotton pads per day. Over a year, this amounts to hundreds of disposable pads ending up in residual waste — and a significant expense for something you actually don’t see after use. Additionally, cotton disposables often absorb a lot of product residue, leaving much of an expensive exfoliating tonic on the pad instead of on the skin.
The Alpha-H Reusable Bamboo Cotton Pads are a sustainable alternative: a set of 7 reusable cotton pads made of soft bamboo and organic cotton, one for each day of the week. They are designed to apply liquid skincare products like exfoliating tonics and toners evenly on the skin without absorbing unnecessary product. A supplied laundry bag makes cleaning in the washing machine easy.
Benefits
- Replaces hundreds of disposable cotton pads per year
- Prevents product waste thanks to the less absorbent texture
- Soft enough for sensitive skin and the eye area
- Includes drawstring laundry bag for machine wash at 30 °C
- Vegan and cruelty-free, made from bamboo and organic cotton
Material and sustainability
Bamboo: One of the fastest-growing plants in the world and thus an excellent sustainable alternative to conventional cotton. Bamboo naturally has a soft, velvety texture that feels comfortable on the skin and does not cause irritation when used around the sensitive eye area.
Organic cotton: Grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, making production less harmful to soil and groundwater. Combined with bamboo, it gives the pad a firm yet soft texture that withstands dozens of washes with proper care.
Included laundry bag: A fine mesh bag with a drawstring keeps the pads together during washing, prevents them from getting lost in the washing machine, and extends the lifespan of the pads. The embossed logo on the pads fades after a few washes, but this does not affect their performance.
How to use it
- Drop a small amount of your favorite Alpha-H tonic or essence onto the pad
- Wipe gently over face, neck, and décolleté
- Rinse the pad immediately after use with lukewarm water and mild soap, or store until laundry day
- For machine wash: place the pads in the included laundry bag, close the drawstring, and wash at 30 °C
- Let the pads air dry and do not use fabric softener, which reduces absorption

Frequently asked questions
How long do the pads last?
With correct use and washing at 30 °C without fabric softener, the pads usually last six to twelve months, depending on frequency of use. The embossed Alpha-H logo fades after a few washes, which is normal and does not affect performance. Replace the pads when they lose their firmness or soft texture.
Can I use the pads to remove makeup?
Yes, the pads are suitable for removing makeup in combination with micellar water or a cleansing product. For heavy or waterproof makeup, it is recommended to first use a cleansing balm like the Alpha-H Melting Moment Cleansing Balm and then a pad with tonic for the second step.
Don’t the pads absorb too much product?
No, the material is deliberately chosen to be less absorbent than disposable cotton pads. A few drops of tonic on the pad are enough to deliver the active ingredient to the skin surface instead of letting it disappear into the pad — an important difference in expensive exfoliating treatments.
Can I wash the pads together with other clothes?
Yes, as long as they are in the included laundry bag. Preferably wash with white or light-colored laundry, especially if the pads have recently been used with strongly colored products or brown cleansers. Fabric softener is not recommended because it leaves a layer that can affect the absorption of future products.
