Detoxifying face mask with volcanic glass and activated charcoal
In a busy modern world, the skin processes a daily stream of signals: city air, fatigue, hormonal fluctuations, and intense screen time eventually show as dull skin texture, clogged pores, and an overall tired complexion. The skin then needs a targeted reset — a moment when pores are purified without stressing the skin barrier.
Ayuna Balm is a versatile detox mask that can be used in three ways: as a full face mask, as an instant eye lift under the eyes, or as a targeted spot treatment on problem areas. The power lies in the combination of volcanic glass and activated charcoal, which act like a magnet on impurities and sebum. Pullulan, a natural sugar from fermentation, forms a skin-lifting and firming film after drying that delivers immediately visible results. Made Safe® certified, 100% natural, and 69% organic.
Benefits
- Deeply detoxifies the skin thanks to the absorbing action of volcanic glass and activated charcoal
- Provides an immediate lifting effect thanks to the firming pullulan film
- Reduces the visibility of pores and mattifies the skin without drying it out
- Three application forms in one jar: mask, eye lift, or spot treatment
- Made Safe® certified and microbiome-friendly, suitable for sensitive skin
Active ingredients
Volcanic glass (Perlite): A natural mineral formed from volcanic rock. The microporous structure absorbs excess sebum and toxins from the pores and visibly mattifies the skin. Unlike synthetic absorbents, volcanic glass does not damage the skin barrier and is especially suitable for sensitive skin.
Activated charcoal (Charcoal Powder): A classic detoxifier with an extremely large internal surface area. Activated charcoal binds impurities, environmental pollution, and bacteria in the pores and easily rinses away with water. Works synergistically with volcanic glass for a double purifying effect.
Pullulan: A natural polysaccharide from fermentation. Pullulan forms a thin, breathable film on the skin that gently tightens as it dries. This provides an immediate skin-lifting effect and strengthens the skin's natural protective barrier — also usable as an instant eye lift under the eyes.
Lactobacillus ferment: A postbiotic ingredient that nourishes and strengthens the skin's microbiota. During detoxing, the skin microbiome remains intact and balanced, preventing dryness or sensitivity after use.
Olive oil and squalane: Two plant-based lipids that ensure the skin remains comfortable and nourished after the detox phase. Squalane also naturally occurs in the skin barrier and retains moisture without clogging pores.
Lemon water (Citrus Limon Fruit Water): The watery base of the mask, rich in natural fruit acids that gently refine skin texture and brighten a dull complexion.

Frequently asked questions
How often can I use Balm for optimal results?
Two to three times per week is recommended for structural results. For oily or blemish-prone skin, up to three times per week; for sensitive skin, one to two times per week. Adjust the application time according to skin type: 5 minutes for sensitive skin, up to 10 minutes for oily skin.
What is the instant eye-lift application?
Apply a small amount of Balm under the eyes on areas with puffiness or swelling, and let dry for a few minutes until you feel the firming pullulan film tighten. Remove gently with lukewarm water. The effect is immediately visible and especially suitable for a quick refresh before an appointment or night out.
Can Balm be used as a spot treatment for blemishes?
Yes, this is a third valued application. Apply a thin layer on the pimple or irritated area and leave on overnight. The combination of activated charcoal and volcanic glass draws impurities to the surface and accelerates skin recovery.
What is the difference between Balm and Balm K?
Balm is the detoxifying variant with volcanic glass and activated charcoal, focused on purification and an immediate lifting effect. Balm K is a mineral-rich mask with broccoli sprouts, kaolin clay, and Tasmanian pepper, specifically developed for pigmentation spots, redness, and uneven skin tone — two complementary products with different focuses.
