Cosmedix Purity Balance combines two exfoliating acids in one formula. Salicylic acid penetrates the pore to dissolve sebum and dead skin cells, while lactic acid works on the skin surface for a more even texture. Active ingredients

Niacinamide: A form of vitamin B3 with a broad spectrum of action. Regulates sebum production, reduces the visibility of pigmentation spots, and strengthens the skin barrier — three effects that reinforce each other in oily and blemished skin.

How to use it
- Cleanse the face morning and evening with Purity Clean or Clarify
- Spray Purity Balance onto a cotton pad, not directly on the face

Can I combine Purity Balance with a retinol serum or vitamin C?
Yes, and it even works synergistically. The mild exfoliation ensures that active serums can penetrate better afterward. Classic routine: toner in the evening followed by retinol, toner in the morning followed by vitamin C and SPF. For sensitive skin, build up retinol slowly.
Does this toner also work against blackheads?
Yes, salicylic acid is one of the most effective ingredients against blackheads because it works inside the pore where they form. With daily use, initial results are usually visible after three to four weeks.
Does this toner not dry out the skin, especially with the denatured alcohol in the formula?
The denatured alcohol here acts as a solvent and penetration enhancer for the active ingredients, not as a main component.
