Description
Description
Antioxidant serum with vitamins C, E, and ferulic acid
Scientific research has shown that the combination of vitamin C, vitamin E, and ferulic acid creates a synergistic effect — together these three antioxidants work up to eight times more powerfully than each alone. For skin exposed daily to UV radiation, pollution, and blue light, this trio formula is a gold standard to prevent and correct photo damage.
The DermaQuest Ferulic Infusion + C Serum combines these three powerhouses in one lightweight formula with pure L-ascorbic acid, tocopherol, and ferulic acid, supplemented with aloe vera and hyaluronic acid. The serum fights free radicals, reduces the visibility of pigmentation spots and fine lines, and restores the skin’s healthy glow. Result: noticeably firmer, more even, and radiant skin.

Active ingredients
Ascorbic Acid (L-ascorbic acid, pure vitamin C): The biologically most active form of vitamin C and the gold standard in antioxidant skincare. Pure L-ascorbic acid neutralizes free radicals, stimulates collagen production, and reduces melanin production, fading pigmentation spots and visibly brightening the skin. Effective at a low pH for optimal skin absorption.
Ferulic Acid: A plant-based antioxidant from the seed coat of grains that multiplies the effect of vitamins C and E. Ferulic acid stabilizes both vitamins, protects against UV-induced damage, and strengthens the skin's natural defense against pollution and blue light.
Tocopherol (Vitamin E): A fat-soluble antioxidant that protects cell membranes and works together with vitamin C. Vitamin E captures free radicals that vitamin C cannot reach, nourishes the skin, and helps repair visible damage caused by sun and aging.
Sodium Hyaluronate & Panthenol (Vitamin B5): Hyaluronic acid attracts and retains moisture in the skin for immediate plumping of fine lines. Panthenol soothes the skin and strengthens the skin barrier, which is important when using active ingredients like pure vitamin C.
Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) & Sodium Phytate: Aloe vera soothes and hydrates, helping to ease any tingling from pure vitamin C. Sodium phytate acts as a mild antioxidant and supports an even skin tone.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use this serum in combination with retinol?
Yes, but use them separately. Apply this serum in the morning for antioxidant protection during the day, and save retinol for the evening. This combination is one of the most recommended routines in professional skincare for anti-aging results.
Why can this serum cause a slight tingling sensation?
Pure L-ascorbic acid works at a low pH, creating the ideal conditions for absorption into the skin. A slight, brief tingling sensation upon first use is normal. If irritation or burning persists, I recommend using the serum every other day to build up the skin.
How do I store this serum optimally?
Store the serum in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the stability of pure vitamin C. A slight discoloration from clear to light yellow is normal due to oxidation and does not affect its effectiveness, but if it turns dark brown, the serum has oxidized and it's time for a new bottle.
