The knitted microfiber cloth has fibers many times thinner than a human hair — thin enough to penetrate the oils that bind makeup to the skin. Material & function
Knitted microfibers: The Magic Mitt® is made from specially knitted microfibers that are many times thinner than a human hair. This exceptionally fine structure allows it to penetrate the oils and pigments that hold makeup to the skin — something a regular washcloth, wipe, or cotton swab cannot do.
Emulsification with warm water: With warm water, the microfibers of a regular cloth transform into an active cleansing agent. They absorb the oils that makeup adheres to on the skin and convert them into an emulsion — similar to the principle of a cleansing oil, but without products or ingredients. All the Magic Mitt® needs is water.
Acid mantle protection: The acid mantle is the thin, slightly acidic protective layer on the skin that repels bacteria and environmental influences. Many cleansing products — including soap, wipes, and micellar water — disrupt this layer. The Magic Mitt® cleans mechanically, not chemically, and leaves the acid mantle completely intact. How to use it
- Soak the Magic Mitt® completely in warm water and wring it out lightly
