Massada Whitening Facial Mask 100ml
Description
Description
Weekly pigmentation mask with bearberry and wheat germ
A good pigmentation routine consists of two speeds: daily correction that keeps melanocytes calm, and a weekly boost that works deeper on established spots. Without that weekly boost, results stagnate — especially with stubborn sun damage, older age spots, or a melasma mask left after pregnancy. A concentrated mask gives the skin a week-by-week impulse that a day cream alone cannot provide.
The Massada whitening mask combines bearberry with nourishing oils of sesame, wheat germ, lemon, and lavender in a formula that can be left on the skin for 15 to 20 minutes. The relatively long application time ensures the active ingredients have enough time to penetrate — an important difference from quick wash-off products that give the active ingredients little time to work.
Advantages
- Evens out skin tone for a more uniform, radiant complexion
- Reduces age spots, sun damage, and post-acne marks
- Also works on melasma spots after pregnancy or hormonal fluctuations
- Nourishes the skin with sesame and wheat germ oil without drying it out
- Restores visible luminosity to dull skin
- Simple weekly ritual — 15 to 20 minutes each time
Active ingredients
Bearberry Extract (Uva Ursi): The source of arbutin, a natural inhibitor of the enzyme tyrosinase responsible for melanin production. In a leave-on formula with a long application time, arbutin can penetrate deeper into the upper skin layers than in a quick cleanser or toner.
Wheat Germ Oil: Rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids. Wheat germ intensely nourishes the skin during the application time of the Massada whitening mask and helps strengthen the skin barrier — important because depigmenting agents can sometimes dry out the skin.
Sesame Seed Oil: A light plant-based oil with antioxidant and soothing properties. Sesame provides the silky texture of the mask and helps keep the skin supple during the active phase.
Lemon Extract (Citrus Limon): Naturally contains vitamin C and mild fruit acids that prepare the skin for better absorption of other active ingredients. Lemon thus supports the overall brightening of the complexion.
Lavender oil: Soothes the skin and helps reduce any irritation from the active ingredients. Additionally, lavender gives the mask a subtle relaxing scent — a weekly moment that feels like a ritual.
Copper chlorophyll complex (from INCI): A green pigment that naturally helps even out the skin and adds luminosity. An underrated ingredient in pigment correction that provides a visibly brighter effect immediately after treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often can I use this mask?
Massada recommends once a week. Using it more often increases the risk of irritation without speeding up results — pigment correction takes time and is a gradual process. Consistency over 8 to 12 weeks yields the best results.
Can I use this mask during pregnancy?
The formula contains plant-based active ingredients and is generally mild, but during pregnancy, we advise always consulting your midwife or skin therapist beforehand. This mask is excellent for melasma correction after childbirth.
Is this mask suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, the formula is rich in nourishing oils such as sesame and wheat germ that keep the skin supple. However, we recommend starting with a short application time of 10 minutes to see how the skin reacts.
Does this mask also work against post-acne spots?
Certainly. Berberis and lemon work together on both sun-induced pigmentation spots and post-inflammatory spots that occur after acne. For active acne, we always recommend first getting the acne itself under control.
