Youngblood Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad Starlit 4g
Description
Description
Talc-free eyeshadow quad with four warm shades, from ivory through copper to deep brick red
Warm shades such as copper, terracotta and brick red give the eyes a sunny glow and make blue and green eyes in particular stand out. They are surprisingly wearable when you pair them with a light base and a gentle transition. Youngblood Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad Starlit contains four pressed mineral eyeshadows in that warm colour family, together in one mirrored compact. Use it for a soft, bronzed daytime look or a warm, intense look for the evening.
The eyeshadows are talc-free and, according to Youngblood, have a velvety texture with rich pigmentation that applies smoothly and lasts for hours. Starlit combines matte shades with a shimmering accent, so you can build the warm colours with light and depth. The colour is buildable, from a soft haze to a bold finish. The compact contains 4 g of eyeshadow.
Shades: In the photos, Starlit shows a light ivory, a shimmering peachy copper, a matte terracotta and a deep brick red. The ivory is a light base for the lid and brow bone, the copper adds shine to the centre of the lid, and the terracotta and brick red bring warmth and depth to the crease. If you prefer cooler colours, take a look at the rosy Garden Party or the neutral Taupe Smoke.

Key ingredients
The formula combines mineral pigments with ingredients that help the eyeshadow apply smoothly and last:
Mica: Adds a subtle sheen and a silky-smooth texture. In Starlit it creates the warm shimmer of the copper shade, which catches the light at the centre of the lid.
Rice starch: According to Youngblood, it provides long-lasting wear. It controls shine, so warm shades such as terracotta and brick red stay even and don't fade.
Jojoba seed oil: Conditions and hydrates the skin. It keeps the powders supple, so the deep shades blend out evenly without patches.
Vitamin E: Nourishes and softens the skin. This keeps the delicate eyelid comfortable under the eyeshadow.

Frequently asked questions
Isn't brick red on the eyes too bold?
Not if you use a thin layer and blend it well. Apply the brick red only to the outer corner and let it fade into the ivory base via the terracotta. That way you mainly see warm depth rather than a red patch.
Which eye colour does Starlit suit?
Warm copper and red shades contrast with blue and green eyes, making them look brighter. Brown eyes also get a warm glow from them. Not sure? Start with ivory and copper and add the deeper shades gradually.
Can I apply this eyeshadow wet?
Yes, Youngblood recommends using the eyeshadow dry for a soft look and wet for more intense colour. Dampen the brush slightly, tap off the excess and apply the colour. The shimmering copper shade in particular comes through more strongly this way.
Which brushes do I need?
Youngblood recommends the YB9 for the lid, the YB8 Tapered Blending Brush for the transition in the crease and the YB11 Crease Brush for the outer corner. With these three brushes you can blend all the Starlit shades seamlessly into one another.
