Youngblood Pressed Mineral Rice Setting Powder Tan 8g

Talc-free pressed setting powder in Tan for a soft matte finish

A setting powder is the last step of your makeup: it locks foundation and concealer in place, absorbs shine and makes the skin look smoother. Youngblood Pressed Mineral Rice Setting Powder in Tan is a talc-free pressed powder based on rice and corn starch. It keeps shine under control and gives a natural, soft matte finish, so the skin looks soft and balanced, almost as if a filter has been laid over it.

The lightweight, silky formula helps blur the look of pores and keeps your makeup fresh and comfortable all day. Because the powder is pressed into an 8 g compact, you use it at home to set foundation and on the go to quickly remove shine, without loose powder in your bag. The coverage is light: the powder finishes your makeup and does not replace foundation.

Shade: Tan is the deepest of the four shades and in the photos appears as a golden beige powder. The other shades are Light (creamy white), Medium (warm beige) and Pink (soft pink, with a colour-correcting effect). Not sure which shade suits your skin and foundation? Send us a WhatsApp message with a photo in daylight and we'll help you decide.

Active ingredients

The matte finish comes from two types of starch. Mica, jojoba oil and two plant extracts provide a silky texture and a comfortable feel on the skin:

Rice starch: The main ingredient of this formula. Rice starch keeps shine under control and helps blur the look of pores and texture, creating the silky soft-focus finish. It also helps foundation and concealer stay in place for longer.

Corn starch: Absorbs excess skin oil. Especially on the T-zone, where the skin often gets shiny faster, this helps keep your makeup matte for longer.

Mica: Youngblood uses ethically sourced mica. It gives the powder a subtle sheen and a silky-smooth texture, so the finish looks soft.

Jojoba seed oil: Conditions and hydrates the skin. As a result, the powder feels comfortable, even when you touch up a few times during the day.

Green tea leaf extract: Provides antioxidant support that helps keep the skin balanced and refreshed. Together with honeysuckle extract, it contributes to a fresh, shine-free complexion, according to Youngblood.

Honeysuckle flower extract: An antioxidant that helps protect against free radicals and supports the skin barrier.

How to use

1. Apply your foundation and concealer and let them set for a moment
2. Pick up a little powder with the YB2 Powder Luxe Brush or the YB1 Kabuki Luxe Brush and tap away any excess to avoid a powdery result
3. Gently press and sweep the powder over the areas that get shiny quickly, especially the T-zone
4. Use soft, circular motions to soften the texture and set your makeup
5. On the go, touch up with the compact wherever the skin starts to shine again. Start with a little powder and build up if needed

Suitable for

• Normal, combination and oily skin, according to Youngblood
• Anyone who wants to set foundation and concealer with a golden beige shade
• Anyone looking for a talc-free powder
• Anyone who wants to quickly remove shine during the day with a pressed powder

Frequently asked questions

Is Tan the right shade for me?

That depends on your skin and the foundation you wear. Tan is the deepest of the four shades: a golden beige powder. If you are torn between Medium and Tan, hold your foundation next to the photos of both shades: the powder should be close in colour to your foundation, so your makeup looks the same after setting. Feel free to send us a WhatsApp message with a photo in daylight and we'll help you decide.

Which skin type is this setting powder meant for?

According to Youngblood, the powder is meant for normal, combination and oily skin. It absorbs excess skin oil and gives light coverage and a matte finish. If your skin is on the drier side, use only a little powder and focus mainly on the areas that get shiny, such as the T-zone.

Which brush do I use for this pressed powder?

Youngblood recommends the YB2 Powder Luxe Brush or the YB1 Kabuki Luxe Brush. Pick up only a little powder, tap away the excess and then press it gently onto the skin. This way you build up the layer gradually and your makeup keeps looking natural.

What is the difference with the loose version?

This pressed version is a pressed powder in an 8 g compact and, according to Youngblood, is meant for normal, combination and oily skin. The Loose Mineral Rice Setting Powder in Tan is a loose powder in a 10 g jar that, according to Youngblood, is suitable for all skin types and contains parsley, cucumber and marshmallow root extract, among others. If you mainly want to touch up on the go, the compact is the most practical choice.
