Youngblood Liquid Mineral Foundation

Award-winning liquid foundation with Deep Sea Water in 9 shades

A good foundation covers imperfections, but an exceptional foundation does more: it hydrates, soothes, and nourishes the skin with every wear. Youngblood Liquid Mineral Foundation is built around this principle — a clean formula in which makeup and skincare come together seamlessly in one award-winning product that has ranked among the best-selling foundations in the Youngblood range for years. With an average rating of 4.8 from more than 500 reviews, it is no coincidence that this is a shade repeatedly recommended by professional skin therapists and customers alike.

Youngblood Liquid Mineral Foundation combines light-to-medium buildable coverage with a luminous, dewy finish that makes the skin look healthy and hydrated. The formula was specially developed for all skin types — including sensitive, dehydrated, and acne-prone skin. The formula is based on characteristic Deep Sea Water from the Korea East Sea: extracted at a depth of 200 meters, where this rare mineral water is protected from inorganic contaminants and contains the same ratio of Magnesium, Calcium, and Potassium as the human body. At Glamskin, we offer 9 carefully selected shades from this extensive range, grouped by skin depth and undertone so you can find the exact shade that blends seamlessly with your own skin.

Why choose Youngblood Liquid Mineral Foundation?

This foundation stands out on the market through its consciously minimalist philosophy: no fillers, no synthetic binders, but active skincare ingredients that continue working while you wear it. Every Youngblood Liquid Mineral Foundation review highlights the same point — the skin feels better at the end of the day than it did at the beginning, something that rarely happens with traditional foundations.

• Award-winning clean formula with skincare-quality ingredients
• Deep Sea Water from the Korea East Sea — collagen-stimulating and skin-balancing
• Squalane, Cactus Flower, Cucumber, Calendula, and Green Tea for hydration and soothing
• Chamomile and Magnolia Bark for brightening and anti-inflammatory benefits
• Willow Bark Extract for gentle exfoliation and sebum control
• Light-to-medium buildable coverage with a luminous dewy finish
• Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin
• Non-comedogenic and fragrance-clean formula

Many customers who previously wore the pressed mineral foundation have switched to this liquid version — the color payoff is comparable, but the skincare blend and dewy finish make it a stronger all-round choice for modern skin.

Find your ideal shade

The 9 shades we sell are organized along two axes: skin depth (fair, light, medium, tan) and undertone (warm, cool, neutral). For the most accurate match, we recommend swatching along the jawline in daylight and checking which shade blends seamlessly into the skin of your neck. If you are not yet familiar with the Youngblood liquid foundation colors: all shades in the range can be mixed with one another using the pump, making seasonal adjustments easy.

Fair shades (fair skin):

• Pebble — fair with a cool porcelain undertone

Light shades (light skin tones):

• Shell — light with a warm golden-beige undertone
• Sand — light-to-medium with a warm golden-beige undertone
• Capri — light-to-medium with a warm Mediterranean golden undertone

Medium shades (medium skin tones):

• Sun Kissed — medium with a balanced neutral undertone
• Golden Tan — medium-to-tan with a neutral undertone and a soft golden glow

Tan shades (tanned skin tones):

• Nutmeg — tan with a balanced neutral undertone
• Suntan — tan with a rare cool rosy undertone
• Tahitian Sun — tan with a warm golden, sun-kissed undertone

If you are switching from the Natural Loose Mineral Foundation range: Honey corresponds to Capri in the liquid range, Barely Beige to Sun Kissed, and the previously worn Tawnee (pressed range) is best matched with Golden Tan. These are official Youngblood recommendations for switching between the ranges.

How do you use Youngblood Liquid Mineral Foundation?

The final result of Youngblood Liquid Foundation depends on the application technique. For optimal coverage, wear, and comfort, follow these steps:

1. Cleanse the face thoroughly and apply your complete skincare routine, including moisturizer — allow the skin to absorb everything fully before applying the foundation
2. Optional: use a primer for extra wear, a smoother base, or a specific skin effect (for example, pore-refining or hydrating)
3. Shake the bottle well before use — this activates the formula and ensures even pigment distribution
4. Choose the appropriate brush based on your desired technique: the YB3 Liquid Buffing Luxe Brush has a dense, rounded shape specially designed for liquid foundations and uses circular buffing motions for medium-high to full coverage. The YB4 Foundation Luxe Brush is the precision brush for sweeping motions, particularly suitable for mature or drier skin that does not benefit from buffing, as well as for precision work around the nose, eye contour, and corners of the mouth
5. Pump 1 dose of foundation onto the back of your hand or directly onto the brush — the pump provides a precise, hygienic amount without excess
6. Start in the center of the face and work outward using buffing or sweeping motions (depending on the brush you choose) for an even, second-skin result
7. Add another pump where more coverage is desired — the formula builds seamlessly without becoming cakey
8. In the morning, always finish with sun protection as the final step

For extra wear and a more subtle matte finish, you can finish with a light layer of Natural Loose Mineral Foundation applied with the YB2 Powder Brush. For touch-ups during the day: lightly dab with a clean brush on the area that needs attention — the liquid formula remains easy to blend without streaking.

Frequently asked questions

What makes Youngblood Liquid Mineral Foundation different from an ordinary liquid foundation?

While many foundations rely on silicones and fillers to achieve coverage, this formula centers on a clean skincare blend. Deep Sea Water from the Korea East Sea, Squalane, Cucumber, Calendula, Chamomile, Green Tea, and Willow Bark work while you wear it to hydrate, soothe, brighten, and reduce inflammation. Every Youngblood Liquid Mineral Foundation review says the same thing: customers appreciate not only the coverage, but especially how their skin feels after a full day of wear.

Which skin types is this foundation suitable for?

Youngblood Liquid Foundation is dermatologically tested and suitable for all skin types, including sensitive, dehydrated, and acne-prone skin. The skincare blend with Calendula (soothing), Chamomile (brightening), Magnolia Bark (anti-inflammatory), and Willow Bark (gentle exfoliation and sebum control) makes the formula exceptionally well tolerated. For very sensitive or reactive skin, we always recommend performing a small patch test along the jawline before full use.

I am unsure between two shades from the Youngblood liquid foundation colors range — how do I choose?

For the most accurate shade match, we recommend swatching along the jawline in daylight and checking which shade blends seamlessly into the skin of your neck. All shades in the range can be mixed with one another using the pump, so being unsure between two neighboring shades does not mean you have to choose — you can combine both for an exact, seasonally adaptable match. How does the liquid version compare with the Natural Loose Mineral Foundation?

The choice between liquid and loose is mainly a matter of the desired finish and skin type. Youngblood Liquid Mineral Foundation gives a dewy, luminous finish and is ideal for dry, mature, or dehydrated skin. Natural Loose Mineral Foundation provides a satin-matte finish and works better on oily or combination skin. Many customers use both: the liquid as a base and the loose formula as a finishing layer — for the best combination of hydration and wear.
