Schrammek Blemish Balm Honey 40ml
Description
Description
Nourishing tinted day cream for warm skin with blemishes
Skin with blemishes, redness, or enlarged pores has a dual need: immediate coverage for confidence and active care that improves the skinโs appearance in the long term. Classic foundations only cover the surface and can worsen blemishes by clogging pores. A regular tinted day cream lacks the active effect to truly calm inflammations.
The Blemish Balm from the Regulating line by Dr Schrammek was invented in 1967 by founder Christine Schrammek and forms the basis for what later became the worldwide BB cream trend. Today there are hundreds of BB creams, but only one original Blemish Balm. The formula combines strong coverage with zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, panthenol, and bisabolol โ an ingredient mix that soothes redness, reduces inflammation, protects against UV radiation, and actively helps the skin regenerate.
Shade Honey
The warm honey color is a golden, warm beige shade that provides a natural, healthy look. Honey is the right choice for normal to slightly darker skin tones with a warm undertone โ think of skin that quickly gets a golden brown tint in the sun or naturally has a warm, sunny appearance. The shade makes the skin glow without a mask effect.

Active ingredients
Zinc Oxide: A mineral ingredient with a dual action. It has an anti-inflammatory effect on active blemishes and simultaneously offers physical UV protection. Zinc oxide is especially suitable for skin that reacts sensitively to chemical sunscreens.
Titanium Dioxide: A second mineral filter that, together with zinc oxide, provides broad-spectrum UV protection. Titanium dioxide also contributes to the coverage of the Blemish Balm โ which is why a single layer is enough to camouflage blemishes and pigmentation spots.
Licorice Root Extract (Liquorice Root): A natural ingredient with strong anti-inflammatory properties and a proven skin-evening effect. Licorice root soothes active redness and helps fade post-inflammatory pigmentation spots that often remain after pimples.
Panthenol (Provitamin B5): Attracts moisture, supports the repair of the skin barrier, and soothes irritated skin. For skin actively dealing with inflammation, panthenol is an essential ingredient to accelerate regeneration.
Bisabolol: A soothing ingredient from chamomile that calms irritations and relaxes the skin. Bisabolol enhances the effect of panthenol and licorice root and is a key reason why the Blemish Balm is so suitable after intensive treatments like a Green Peelยฎ.
Allantoin & Shea Butter: Allantoin stimulates cell renewal and smooths the skin texture, while shea butter nourishes and keeps the skin supple. Together they form the nourishing base that distinguishes the Blemish Balm from an ordinary foundation โ your face gets not only coverage but also active care.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if Honey is the right shade for me?
Honey suits normal to slightly darker skin with a warm, golden undertone. If your arms tan faster in the sun and yellow gold jewelry suits you better than silver, this is probably your shade. If in doubt, you can also mix Honey with a touch of Classic or Light for a lighter variant.
Can I use the Blemish Balm as sun protection?
Due to zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, the balm offers a light degree of UV protection, but not enough for prolonged sun exposure. We always recommend a separate sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher as the last step under the Blemish Balm during intense sun exposure.
Can I use the Blemish Balm after a Green Peelยฎ or laser treatment?
Yes, this is actually one of the recommended uses. The combination of panthenol, bisabolol, and licorice root supports skin renewal and soothes sensitive, treated skin. The balm also covers any temporary redness typical after such a treatment.
Is the Blemish Balm comedogenic โ can it clog my pores?
No, the Blemish Balm is specifically developed for blemished skin and is dermatologically tested not to clog pores. The mineral composition with zinc oxide even works antibacterial โ the opposite of what clogs pores.
How long does a 40ml tube last?
With daily use over the entire face, one tube lasts about three to four months. If the balm is applied only locally on blemishes, one tube can last six months or longer.
