Dermalogica Daily Skin Health

Daily skincare routine for a healthy, balanced skin

Daily Skin Health is the core collection of Dermalogica: a complete system that builds daily skincare from one principle — healthy skin starts with consistency. The line brings together cleansers, exfoliants, toners, serums, eye care, moisturizers, and sun protection in formulas that seamlessly layer on each other, regardless of your skin type or age.

Whether you struggle with dull complexion, disrupted moisture balance, sensitivity, or the first signs of aging — within this collection you will find a combination that suits your skin. Every product within Daily Skin Health is developed in collaboration with skin therapists and contains targeted active ingredients that deliver visible results with daily use.

Why choose Dermalogica Daily Skin Health?

Daily Skin Health is not a standalone product line but a well-thought-out skincare system. The formulas are effective on their own but work even better in combination: a cleanser from the line prepares the skin for the serum, which in turn supports the moisturizer. Since 1986, Dermalogica has conducted skin science research through the International Dermal Institute, so the ingredient combinations are clinically supported and remain true to the skin barrier. No fragrances, no artificial colorants, no ingredients that disrupt the skin’s balance — but active ingredients like salicylic acid, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, peptides, vitamin C, and zinc oxide in carefully balanced concentrations.

Find your ideal Dermalogica product

For dull skin and uneven complexion: start with daily exfoliation using Daily Microfoliant or the gentler Daily Milkfoliant for sensitive skin. For a deeper weekly peel, Liquid Peelfoliant is the choice.

For dry and dehydrated skin: combine Intensive Moisture Cleanser with Circular Hydration Serum and Intensive Moisture Balance. The Hyaluronic Ceramide Mist adds an extra layer of moisture at any time of day.

For oily or combination skin: choose the classic Special Cleansing Gel and build your routine with Active Moist as a light moisturizer. Daily Glycolic Cleanser helps with clogged pores and uneven skin texture.

For sensitive skin or skin with redness: Invisible Physical Defense SPF30 offers mineral sun protection without a white cast, and Skin Smoothing Cream brings calm and hydration in one step.

For the first signs of skin aging: Pro-Collagen Banking Serum and Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream support natural collagen production. Neurotouch Symmetry Serum focuses on refining facial contours, and Smart Response Serum adapts to multiple skin concerns at once.

For the eye contour: the cooling Stress Positive Eye Lift for tired eyes, or the hydrating Awaken Peptide Eye Gel for fine lines.

For the evening routine: Sound Sleep Cocoon is a transformative night cream that optimizes skin repair during sleep.

How to use Dermalogica Daily Skin Health?

The power of Daily Skin Health lies in the order in which you use the products. A complete routine looks like this, although you don’t have to apply every step daily — choose the steps that suit your skin.

1. Start in the evening with a first cleanse using Precleanse, an oil cleanser that effortlessly dissolves makeup, SPF, and sebum.
2. Then cleanse with a skin type-specific cleanser: Special Cleansing Gel for most skin types, Intensive Moisture Cleanser for drier skin, Daily Glycolic Cleanser for dull skin or clogged pores, Oil to Foam Total Cleanser for a 2-in-1 cleanse, or Magnetic Afterglow Cleanser for extra glow.
3. Exfoliate every morning daily with Daily Microfoliant or Daily Milkfoliant — mix half a teaspoon with water to a creamy paste. Once or twice a week, Liquid Peelfoliant is a more intensive option.
4. Tone with Multi-Active Toner or mist the skin with Hyaluronic Ceramide Mist to balance moisture and pH.
5. Apply a serum that matches your skin needs: Circular Hydration Serum for hydration, Smart Response Serum for multiple skin concerns, Pro-Collagen Banking Serum for firmness, or Neurotouch Symmetry Serum for contour refinement.
6. Care for the eye contour with Awaken Peptide Eye Gel or Stress Positive Eye Lift.
7. Hydrate with the moisturizer that suits your skin type: Active Moist for oily and combination skin, Skin Smoothing Cream for normal to dry skin, Intensive Moisture Balance for drier skin, or Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream for first signs of aging.
8. Always finish the morning routine with sun protection: Porescreen SPF40 with a light tint, Invisible Physical Defense SPF30 for mineral protection, Prisma Protect SPF30 for extra glow, or Skinperfect Primer SPF30 as a makeup base.
9. Finish the evening with the night cream Sound Sleep Cocoon, which transforms during your sleep to support natural skin repair.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I combine products from the Daily Skin Health line with other Dermalogica lines?

Yes. Daily Skin Health forms the foundation of the Dermalogica system and is fully compatible with targeted lines such as AGE Smart, Active Clearing, or UltraCalming. The skin therapist usually selects one basic routine from Daily Skin Health and adds products from a targeted line for specific skin concerns.

How do I know which cleanser and moisturizer suit my skin?

First, look at your skin type and skin condition. Oily or combination skin benefits from Special Cleansing Gel and Active Moist; dry or mature skin from Intensive Moisture Cleanser and Intensive Moisture Balance. Unsure? Order a travel size to let your skin get to know the formula before switching to the full size.

Are Dermalogica products suitable for sensitive skin?

Many products within Daily Skin Health are developed without artificial fragrances, colorants, or ingredients that cause irritation. For sensitive skin, especially Skin Smoothing Cream, Intensive Moisture Balance, Hyaluronic Ceramide Mist, and Invisible Physical Defense SPF30 are good choices. For strong reactivity or rosacea, we recommend the UltraCalming line as a supplement.

How long does it take before I see results?

The skin has a cycle of about 28 days. With daily use, you often see a refreshed skin appearance within two weeks, while deeper changes — such as refinement of skin texture, reduction of pigmentation spots, or firmer skin — typically require six to twelve weeks of consistent use.
