Jane Iredale Amazing Base Mineral Powder SPF20 Amber 10,5g

Warm mineral powder foundation with SPF 20 for medium skin tones

A medium skin tone with warm undertones needs a foundation that emphasizes that warmth—not dulls it. Many powder foundations flatten the natural glow with a grayish haze or appear too orange on the skin, causing the natural base color to disappear instead of standing out.

The Jane Iredale Amazing Base in Amber seamlessly blends with a warm, amber skin tone and provides exactly the coverage the skin needs—from light to full—without caking or feeling heavy. The micronized mineral formula with titanium dioxide and zinc oxide simultaneously protects the skin with SPF 20, combining care and coverage in one step.

Color: A deep warm, golden-amber shade with caramel undertones, ideal for a medium skin tone with a warm base.

Benefits

• Light to full coverage that enhances and deepens the warmth of a medium skin tone
• Broad-spectrum SPF 20 protection with titanium dioxide (14%) and zinc oxide (6%)
• Soft focus effect visually softens visible pores, fine lines, and redness
• Water-resistant for up to 40 minutes, even on active and warm days
• Vegan, oil-free, and exceptionally light-feeling on the skin

Active ingredients

Titanium Dioxide (14%): A mineral sunscreen that provides broad UVA and UVB protection while calming the skin. Due to its light-reflecting properties, titanium dioxide contributes to the bright, luminous finish of this powder.

Zinc Oxide (6%): In addition to broad-spectrum protection, zinc oxide has a proven soothing effect on the skin. Especially suitable for skin sensitive to chemical sunscreens or prone to redness.

Boron Nitride: This ingredient has an exceptionally soft texture and acts as a soft-focus filter on the skin. Pores and fine lines are visually softened without the powder giving a mask-like or heavy effect.

Algae extract: A marine component that hydrates and soothes the skin during application. It supports the skin’s moisture level, preventing dryness — a risk with powder products.

Pomegranate extract (Punica Granatum): An antioxidant-rich ingredient that protects the skin from UV-related oxidative damage. Pomegranate extract supports skin integrity during prolonged exposure to sunlight and environmental factors.

Plankton extract: This marine ingredient supports the skin barrier and protects the skin from environmental influences. It contributes to a more even and radiant skin surface.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Amber shade suit my skin tone?

Amber is a medium shade with warm, golden-caramel undertones. It suits a light-medium to medium skin tone with a warm base. If in doubt about the right shade, Jane Iredale offers a 100% color guarantee.

Can I also use this powder foundation as additional sun protection?

Yes. The Amazing Base contains 14% titanium dioxide and 6% zinc oxide as active mineral filters and has SPF 20 with broad-spectrum protection — recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation. It complements your daily sunscreen, not replaces it, but extends protection throughout the day excellently.

How do I get more coverage with this loose powder?

Use the Flocked Sponge instead of a brush for a compressed, fuller coverage. Then optionally layer with the Powder Complexion Brush and set with a hydrating spray for an even, long-lasting finish.
