Jane Iredale Amazing Base Powder SPF20 Golden Glow 10,5g

Mineral powder foundation SPF20 for golden-toned medium skin tones

A radiant, sunny complexion with a natural golden glow is a look many women want to maintain year-round — but a foundation that actively supports that luminosity without dulling it is rarer than you might think. Heavy formulas smother the natural glow of a medium skin tone with strong golden undertones, while too light products never manage to utilize the depth of that warmth.

The Jane Iredale Amazing Base Golden Glow is made specifically for this skin tone: a medium shade with pronounced golden undertones that give the skin a warm, radiant character. The micronized mineral formula lays a luminous veil over the skin — from a soft, glowing touch to full evening coverage — while simultaneously protecting it with broad spectrum SPF20.

Color: A warm, sun-kissed medium shade with pronounced golden undertones that give the skin a natural radiant, glowing appearance.

Benefits

• Luminous, glowing finish that enhances the golden glow of a medium skin tone
• Broad spectrum SPF20 protection with titanium dioxide (14%) and zinc oxide (6%)
• Adjustable coverage: from light sheer to fully evening
• Soft focus effect that visually softens pores, fine lines, and unevenness
• Water-resistant for up to 40 minutes, vegan, and free from synthetic filters

Active Ingredients

Titanium Dioxide (14%): On a complexion with strong golden undertones, the light-reflecting ability of titanium dioxide enhances the skin’s natural luminosity. In addition to broad UVA and UVB protection, it gives a subtle, radiant quality to the finish that visually deepens and enriches the golden glow of the complexion.

Zinc Oxide (6%): A colorless mineral sunscreen that protects the skin from UV damage without disturbing the warm tone of the skin. For a complexion with pronounced golden undertones, it is especially valuable: zinc oxide keeps the skin’s natural color and radiance completely intact.

Boron Nitride: The soft focus effect of Boron Nitride diffuses incoming light evenly across the skin surface, making the skin glow from all angles. On a golden-toned complexion, this creates a warm "lit from within" effect that maximizes the luminosity of the Golden Glow shade.

Algae Extract: This marine extract hydrates and soothes the skin while the powder is worn. Hydrated skin glows more and reflects light better — which further deepens the radiant final result with a golden tint.

Pomegranate extract (Punica Granatum): An antioxidant-rich ingredient that protects the skin against UV-related free radicals that can affect skin texture and evenness. Pomegranate extract supports a clear, even skin surface that optimally enhances the golden undertone of the complexion.

Plankton extract: Strengthens the skin barrier and increases the skin’s resilience against environmental influences. A strong skin barrier forms the foundation for a long-lasting radiant, even complexion — and plankton extract actively contributes to that foundation.

How to use

1. Cleanse and hydrate the face thoroughly — a hydrated base enhances the luminous finish
2. Optionally apply a primer for longer-lasting wear
3. Load the Powder Complexion Brush generously with powder and tap off excess product
4. Apply with downward strokes for an even, luminous finish
5. Finish with a hydration spray — this fully activates the golden glow of this shade

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Jane Iredale Amazing Base Golden Glow and a bronzer?

The Amazing Base Golden Glow is a full powder foundation with SPF20 and adjustable coverage. A bronzer only adds color depth without protection or evening effect. The golden glow of this shade is built into the tint itself — for a natural radiant result in one step.

Is Golden Glow also suitable if my skin gets lighter in winter?

Golden Glow suits a medium skin tone with permanent warm, golden undertones. If the skin becomes much lighter in winter, a lighter shade like Amber or Natural may be a better match during that period. Jane Iredale offers a 100% color guarantee.

How do I maximize the luminous finish of this powder?

Apply Amazing Base Golden Glow on well-hydrated skin and always finish with a hydration spray. This activates the luminous effect of the mineral powder and gives the skin a natural radiant glow finish that lasts all day.
